What is the Tolerance?

The tolerance is the maximum percent that Spark Shipping will automatically update a product's price.

This is a 'safety' setting to be sure prices are not changed more than you would expect to see.

What happens when the change is great than the tolerance?

When the product's price changes greater than the tolerance, these products will be set to Manual Review. 

  

What should I set my tolerance to?

• New Sites -> We recommend setting your tolerance to 100% or more when just getting started. This will allow Spark Shipping to control most pricing updates automatically. 
• Existing Sites (with orders) -> We recommend starting with 2% and then saving the setting. This will start a pricing update where you will see Status Update Pending. Once this update is complete (It can take a couple of hours), recheck to see if the next round of suggested prices is correct. If not, update your pricing settings (margin and markups). If so, increase your tolerance again (ex. 5%) to start another round of pricing updates. Repeat this process until all your products are priced as you would like.
