When an order is received in Spark Shipping, Spark Shipping routes the order to the vendor based on the product SKU Mapping. But what happens when a product is mapped to multiple vendors? Where does the order get sent?
Spark Shipping has three orders routing logics (can be set under the site settings):
1. Route orders to the vendor with the lowest cost
2. Route orders based on the shipping country
For this setting, you will first need to create your vendors/warehouses and map the products to these warehouses. Then, you will need to map these warehouses to shipping countries. Spark Shipping will use this mapping to determine where to route the order based on the order’s shipping country:
3. Route orders to the vendor with the lowest cost accepting backorders.
4. Route orders to vendors according to vendor priority
Prioritize your vendors as you see fit. Check the box if you want Spark Shipping to check the stock quantity before fulfilling, Spark Shipping will group as many items as it can to fulfill from the same vendor if they have sufficient stock to save on shipping costs.
